I don't usually rock folio cases, but the Apple Leather Folio Case for the iPhone X makes it bearable. The soft leather and slim design mean it focuses on the usability of the iPhone over packing in extra features.

So yeah, that does mean it lacks a stand feature, but that's a tradeoff for using thinner leather that's a lot easier to hold the rest of the time.

Apple doesn't indicate how many cards it can hold, but I fit 4 comfortable but I recommend sticking to 3 to not stretch the pockets to no return.

Like the Apple Leather Case though, it lacks any impact absorbing features in it's thin shell design, but the added front cover does provide 360 degrees of coverage. That is still a gamble when you drop your phone, as the cover isn't held in place, so it could totally flop open when dropped.

The neat feature built-in is the auto on/off of the iPhone X screen with a magnet embedded in the front cover. Great for the forgetful people like myself to turn my screen off, but I found the front cover to be a little too loose, moving around easily, causing it to trigger the screen to go on and off while holding or in my bag/pockets.

If you've got the cash, you won't be disappointed with the Apple Leather Folio Case. If you like the folio style but want something that won't break the bank, check out Nomad or Twelve South's line of folios.
