Number 1: 5G and the price: First of all, there are non-5G variants of the Note 10 and Note 10+ which are going to be launched that are priced around $1100 to $1200 in the USA and around 85000 rupees in India. So straight away, don't purchase those devices and I'll tell you why. If you spend more than a grand in a device, you would expect that device to last at least 2 to 3 years. This year itself, most of the flagships are coming with 5G variants, which means that within the next 18 months, the market would be flooded with 5G phones and you will end up with an amazing but handicapped flagship.

I thought smartphone prices were hitting the ceiling when the prices of flagships became just about a grand. But these guys don't seem to care.

Number 2: That hole punch. Now compared to other implementation of the front camera, the hole punch of the Galaxy note 10 which is at the center looks far better. But when you look at the future, the under-screen camera is real and is not far. Soon enough, you will have market being flooded with all-screen phones and you'll feel left out. You can take a look at the renders of the Galaxy S11 to see how near the future is.

Number 3: The headphone jack: Samsung has chosen to finally remove the headphone jack from their flagship and the Note 10 would be the first Samsung's flagship phone not to have a headphone jack. Now, most of the people who can afford such flagship are more or less accustomed to this fact, none the less, it's a feature getting revoked. So if you own costly headsets, think twice about buying the Galaxy Note 10 even though it does come with a dongle!

Number 4: The miscellaneous stuff:

Things like the hybrid sim slot, which again this seems like nit-picking, because having a slot for SD card itself can be considered to be a pro for the Note 10, but the fact that it's a hybrid slot is important. So users can either use 2 SIM cards or 1 SIM and a memory card simultaneously

The OneUI which has a lot of bloatware and is considered to be good by some and not so great by others

And most importantly, the durability, with curved edges and the back glass panel, the durability of the Galaxy Note 10 is always a concern.

Number 5 and probably one of the most important reasons to consider is the availability of a strikingly similar phone out there in the market, the Galaxy S10 and S10+.
