OtterBox claims this new series, the OtterBox Pursuit Series Case, for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is tougher than their Defender Series but also slimmer - about the thickness of their Commuter Series! In my tests, honestly, I found that to be true.

It slid in and out of pockets easily, can be held one handed, although it's still very wide, it's manageable for the iPhone 7. OtterBox claims the case to be completely sealed for dust, snow, or mud, so I tested that. Again, I found that to be true. I threw flour, mud, and ice on it with nothing leaking into the case. I can confidently say, this is basically the LifeProof Nuud Case without the waterproofing ability - but it does keep the sealing technology.

Although very protective, unlike the Defender Series that had 360 degrees of protection with the built-in screen protector, I would say the Pursuit Series Case is even better, in that it doesn't include one, but that means you're able to use whichever one you'd like. My recommendation goes to the RhinoShield screen protector which I smashed with a hammer and not a single crack was seen on the screen.
