Captain obvious is here to point out that the missing headphone jack of the new iPhone 7 Plus with it's included dongle / extension comparing to the iPhone 6s Plus's 3.5mm headphone port.

On the iPhone 7 Plus, there is no headphone port at the bottom of the phone unlike all the previous iPhones which all come with a headphone jack and a charging port.

The main difference of the iPhone 7 Plus 's headphoneless design is that new iPhone 7 Plus's headphone. The unit that comes with the iPhone 7 Plus has a lightning plug on the end where the normal headphone 3.5mm headphone jack is.

There is a noticeable difference using the iPhone 7 Plus 's lightning headphone. It is noticeable difference of 20%. Which means that the sound or music coming out of the lightning headphone is louder than the 3.5 mm headphone.

You can use the dongle/ extension in conjunction with the lightning headphone to use the new lightning headphone unit on the iPhone 6s Plus. However, the same setup is not compatible with iPhone 5 or iPhone 5s.
