This is my leaking water dispenser on my Samsung Refrigerator model number RF4287HARS. It has always leaked since the first day of ownership. Samsung sent a repairman 3 times before they gave up and Samsung refunded my money (took 6 months and the leak did $1000 of damage to my sub-floor). The Freezer/Refrigerator portion works great with no problems.

The main water valve and the entire water filter assembly has been replaced. It constantly leaks when not in use with a loud humming sound coming from the back. Seems to build pressure, starts dripping, drips faster, then something kicks on with loud humming sound and the the water just pours out.

I've tried defrosting it and lowering the water pressure going into the inlet. I've ran at least a hundred gallons of water though it trying to get rid of air that might be causing the problem.

Anyone know what exactly is going on with it?

p.s. I just spent a month and $150 on parts to fix it's matching Samsung dishwasher that had only been used 20 times. I will never buy anything Samsung again!!
