This adapter is great, except for the fact that there is a very quiet yet noticible static sound, but doesn’t get in the way of performance. Not the best sound quality, but reliable for media consumption. When the incompatibility message pops up after about 1 minute and 35 seconds, more or less, unplug and replug adapter and it should be good to go for another 2 minutes or so. You have to wait about 2 seconds before the charging and Spain’s kick back in. Enjoy the iPhone 7 charging and listing at the same time. Note: iPhone 7 compatibility only. iPhone 7 Plus may work, but I’m not sure because I don’t have one to test. iPhones 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X compatibility unknown but probably won’t work.
